The YaHELL corporation never listens to the ordinary users in the first place. In fact they are infamous for not listening to ordinary users whenever they make a boneheaded decision which reduces the usability of the site for ordinary users. Worse, whenever they make such a boneheaded decision, they stick with it irregardless of the damage it causes since new lusers (sheeple and suckers) are an easily replaceable resource to replace the old users who give up on YaHELL in disgust.

The YaHELL corporation only listens to members of special interest groups when said groups have the practical capability to take axes to the YaHELL money tree.

I’m “just” now becoming acquainted with all of this, & wasn’t aware
of all the controversy…

While I must admit, I find some of it confusing…

I agree.. I have a feeling that no one at yahoo is even reading our comments anymore.. I already have moved on to Facebook and so have many of my contacts..

Like Yahoo! 360 and like the failed MASH and so many other projects on Yahoo! … our profiles have been abandoned by Yahoo! … I would suspect this blog to be deleted soon. Move on to something better everyone. I am. It’s not going to take a lot to for something to be better!

I entered my age (birthdate) two days ago and it is reflected in a group I belong to. I want to eliminate that information and I can’t seem to hide that information on the group page. I clicked hide my age and saved it in my Yahoo Profile but it did not post in the group membership section. Suggestions. Thanks.

the answer is – she’s not. The new home page was foisted on me, and low and behold, MY AGE IS SITTING THERE!!! I use this service for my business email, not to have chatty people try and contact me. this is so intrusive and deceptive.
